What we collect
When you sign up: your first name, email, ZIP code, what you run (farm, small business, other), the sections and headline sources you pick, any to-dos, dates and habits you add, your paper's name and light or dark choice, your optional answer to "Would you pay for a paper like this?", your "Coming soon" votes, the date and time you signed up, and your IP address (kept only to stop spam).
Once your paper starts: your evening check-ins, and records of when each paper was built and sent and whether it bounced.
How we use it
Only to build and deliver your paper, keep it working, and answer you. We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for ads. If a paper ever carries an ad, it is for our own services and is not targeted with your data. The Free paper is built by fixed rules. No AI is used.
Who can see your paper
Each reader's data is stored separately from every other reader's. The owner of ALLSEEING IT may view your paper and settings to provide support, fix problems and check that delivery works. No one else sees them unless the law requires it.
Public data sources
Weather and alerts come from the National Weather Service, cross-checked with Open-Meteo. To place your ZIP on the map we use Zippopotam.us and the FCC Area API. These services get only your ZIP or its map coordinates, never your name or email. Holidays are cross-checked with Nager.Date, and headlines come from the RSS feeds you pick; neither gets anything about you. The full list is on the Feeds page.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe with one click from any paper.
- Ask for a copy of your data, or to have it deleted, by emailing research@allseeingit.com. We aim to respond within 7 days.
Retention
Sign-ups are deleted 12 months after you sign up if your paper never starts. Paper data is deleted within 30 days after you unsubscribe.
Security
Data is stored on a server we control, with access limited to the owner. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects you, we will tell you.
Children
The service is not meant for anyone under 13.
