Headlines from

Pick any of these and your paper prints a few of their latest stories. Each headline links to the full story on the source’s own site. Under it is the short summary that the source itself puts out with the story, in the source’s own words. We never rewrite it, and AI never writes it. We use only its first paragraph and only whole sentences: the first two, plus a third if all three fit in 420 characters. Leftover web clutter, like a “…” cut-off or an “appeared first on” line, is taken out. If the source gives no summary, or its first sentence runs past 420 characters, or it only repeats the headline or a link, the story prints just the headline and link.
